A Little Bilingual's World Flash Cards - Chinese/English

It's Bedtime, Little Moon is a cute and relatable books about a child's bedtime routine. The story is written in English, Traditional and Simplified Chinese. Perfect for bilingual learners. My seven year old has been learning Chinese for a few years and was able to read the book on her own. Of course, the toilet scene was her favorite!

The flashcards teach also Traditional and Simplified characters. The illustrations are not too busy and I like the soft color palette. Cards are a nice size and thickness. No heavy ink smell for the book or flashcards. It's kind of a weird thing I always check for.

This should be on every Chinese learner's gift list! Great addition to your home library.

These flash cards are so beautiful and wonderful quality. The pictures are very pretty with great colors that aren’t too stimulating. My two year old loves to hold them and asks questions as we look at them together. I love that we can share these with her grandparents, who do not speak English. It is truly a joy to watch them bond and spend time together over language. I am so amazed that wonderful quality products like these are available for my child- I think about what a difference something like this would have made in my own childhood and am so excited to see my daughter’s curiosity about her family’s languages grow with a wonderful addition to our playroom. My 5 year old enjoyed playing the scavenger hunt game, finding items around the house that matched the vocabulary on the cards. We both enjoyed that the activity involved a lot of movement. And the cards can be used with children and adults at different fluency levels.

The bilingual flash cards of my dreams for my nieces and nephews - thoughtfully designed, beautifully created, and made with a high-quality card material so they last in the hands of little ones! I also really appreciated the recommended activities for each learning level, so that I’m not using them as rote flash cards. In fact, I’ve been able to get extra creative with how to use these cards as they learn the vocabulary!

These flashcards are beautifully made and so helpful for teaching my children (5 and 2) Chinese! My Chinese-speaking nanny uses them with my 2-year-old, who learned new vocabulary through these cards. She loves taking the flashcards and matching them with the real-life objects.

And I love that there are both traditional and simplified Chinese characters. I learned traditional growing up, but my son learns simplified in his bilingual school, so it's great that he can see both ways of writing. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to expose their children to Chinese!
