My 5 year old enjoyed playing the scavenger hunt game, finding items around the house that matched the vocabulary on the cards. We both enjoyed that the activity involved a lot of movement. And the cards can be used with children and adults at different fluency levels.

I also really appreciated the recommended activities for each learning level, so that I’m not using them as rote flash cards. In fact, I’ve been able to get extra creative with how to use these cards as they learn the vocabulary!
These flashcards are beautifully made and so helpful for teaching my children (5 and 2) Chinese! My Chinese-speaking nanny uses them with my 2-year-old, who learned new vocabulary through these cards. She loves taking the flashcards and matching them with the real-life objects.
And I love that there are both traditional and simplified Chinese characters. I learned traditional growing up, but my son learns simplified in his bilingual school, so it's great that he can see both ways of writing. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to expose their children to Chinese!
I have brought these amazing flashcards for a few of my friends and their kids love using them to learn Chinese! The pictures are so beautifully illustrated and a great introduction into learning Chinese for young kids! Would highly recommend them to any parents.

These flash cards are perfectly made in every way. The illustrations are so cute and I love that learning can be fun and interactive using these cards. These are made very high quality, and can withstand folding, crumbling, or even some spills. I love that it grows with your child; my first born loves playing with and using these flashcards as a 4 year old now, and my second child has already been using them as well (18 month old). As an educator myself, I can’t emphasize how useful these are for learning in a fun way and just much thought was put into creating these! Highly recommend.
